Nepal suffered great damage due to the major earthquake which occurred on April 25, with some individuals and players involved in baseball in Nepal also affected by damage such as houses collapsing, etc. To encourage the affected parties, we provided them with relief supplies as well as aiming to hold a local baseball championship.Although the baseball championship scheduled for December had to be postponed due to confusion related to the new Nepalese constitution, for children who had been anticipating the championship, we conducted a friendly match between Bhaktapur and Gurkha Crew, as well as personally delivering donated baseball equipment.
Conversely, based on donations received from all parties, we donated relief supplies in the form of galvanized sheet metal, blankets, solar lamps, etc., most of which were purchased locally. These were then delivered in person to those affected in May and December. We also distributed stationery items to adjacent elementary and junior high schools.

On behalf of the Nepal Baseball Federation, I would like to express my appreciation to all Club Laligurans and supporters. The relief supplies donated will greatly benefit those affected. Although the baseball championship was postponed on this occasion, the children were all delighted to be able to hold the friendly match. I hope that the situation in Nepal will improve and we will be able to hold the baseball championship in future
