Nagasaki Prefecture and Nagasaki Prefecture Sports Commission have accepted the training camp of the Vietnam fencing team as part of the pre-camp invitation project for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. They held a training camp for the women's epee team from October 6th to October 20th in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture.

The players who came to Japan are the players who are participating in the Asian fencing championship and the Southeast Asian championship. These players are expected to be future representatives in Vietnam. During the event, we had a match with high school students. In addition, a lesson was given by the coach of the Vietnam fencing team for high school and junior high school students in the prefecture, which was a unique experience for the players who received the instruction.

Because we were anticipating the invitation of a training camp in advance for the Tokyo 2020 Games, we conducted a hearing about the acceptance system, and there were no particular problems. The players said, "I want to come again." I would like to make use of this experience to improve the acceptance system.
