Sanix's basic philosophy is to use sports to develop healthy young people and spread and improve competitive skills, and to hold various international sports tournaments in the spirit of international and intercultural exchange. This was the 8th handball tournament, and a total of 16 teams participated including men's and women's teams from Japan as well as teams invited from France, the Republic of Korea, and Chinese Taipei. The athlete's village is located within the tournament venue, so athletes are able to communicate, share and understand each other's cultures as they not only compete with one another, but also live together.
During the period, in addition to a competitive tournament, the overseas teams took part in a friendly match held by Fukuoka University, an exchange meeting for players of the participating teams, an exchange meeting for instructors from the participating teams and tournament personnel, as well as sightseeing which included a visit to the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum. A characteristic of this tournament is that the athlete's village is located within the tournament venue, so athletes are able to communicate, share and understand each other's cultures as they not only compete with one another, but also live together.Reflections of the Coach of Bucheon Technical High-School, Republic of Korea
Feedback from :
The tournament was very well organised and also wonderfully managed. Competing with the Japanese high-school students, our school's athletes were inspired not only by the way they played but also by their approach and attitude. The accommodation facilities were also excellent and we did not feel restricted. I hope we can take part again.
