Hello Kitty Run Manila 2017 ~ LINK LOVE TOGETHER ~, the first marathon event using Hello Kitty in Manila, Philippines, was held on October 21, 2017.
Approximately 10,000 people, the highest number of Hello Kitty runs in the past, participated and ran while enjoying the 5km course colored by Hello Kitty.
We can see how popular Hello Kitty is in Asia. In the after-run area, stage events were held by Hello Kitty, and sponsor companies set up game booths and shooting spots for participants to gather and enjoy. This made it a character-run event that everyone from young people, families, and the elderly can enjoy while running.

A wide range of people from families to the elderly, mainly women in their 20s and 30s, visited the venue. Many of the participants were running with original Hello Kitty cosplay and goods, and the venue was very exciting.
