From the perspective of international contribution through sports, the Japan Triathlon Union is engaged in various development activities domestically and internationally. This year, we were unable to invite overseas athletes nor to dispatch Japanese athletes and instructors overseas. Instead, we produced a video to increase competitiveness of developing triathletes in Asia and Africa.
This video is a compilation of a footage from the 26th Japan Triathlon Championships Men’s Competition which was held at Odaiba Marine Park, the triathlon venue for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, on November 8, 2020. It introduces the basic skills and knowledge that are important when taking part in an elite sprint race. The video is available on the official YouTube channel of the Japan Triathlon Union with English and French subtitles.
