For this project, we implemented programmes in Tokyo and Hiroshima for teachers invited to participate in order to improve the quality of physical education classes. In Tokyo, participants learned the overall framework of the Japanese physical education system, and in Hiroshima, participants learned about study lessons by making use of what they learned in Tokyo. During these fulfilling days, the participants deepened their understanding of physical education in Japan and discussed how to utilize the acquired knowledge in their home country, and a post-project action plan (draft) was submitted by the invited teachers.

The JSC received a request from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Peru in fiscal 2016 and implemented a dispatch programme in fiscal 2016 with the aim of improving the abilities of physical education teachers in Peru. A dispatch programme and invitation programme were implemented in fiscal 2017, and a dispatch programme was conducted in August 2018. Study results were observed, but one issue was the lack of content when persons involved in physical education in Peru attempted to make improvements.
For the invitation programme, persons engaged in physical education in Peru (including key persons who did not participate in the previous invitation programme such as Ministry of Education officials) were invited and activities were developed that will lead to improvements in school physical education in Peru and enhancement of the abilities of physical education teachers.
