Kazakhstan in s powerhouse of karate in Asia, and a representative team from the Kazakhstan Karate-do Federation was invited to participate in joint training with Japan’s leading university karate teams and former members (including national team members).
The Kazakhstan team was highly motivated to train in Japan, the country of origin of karate. The aims were to deepen understanding of Japan and karate and to strengthen the participants as athletes. The joint training was also a valuable and rare opportunity for the Japanese athletes to train with world-ranked athletes. The participants promised to meet again in the finals at the Tokyo Olympics and confirmed their new friendships.

See below for the Japanese version.

Feedback from Participant :

I meet Japanese delegates at championships all over the world. But we only have few minutes to talk. This time, we were able to spend training time together doing exercises and fights. We were both able to grow. This event will remain in our memory forever. I would like to welcome Japanese athletes to Kazakhstan next. Thank you.
