The Japan Publicsports Promotion Council (JPPC) donated 2,132 baseball equipment items to the World Baseball Glove Support Project, which is a programme promoting the spread of baseball in developing countries.

The baseball goods were collected and provided by 11 member organisations of the JPPC. The JPPC donates used sports equipment to developing countries. As a part of its work, the JPPC called for its member organisations to collect baseball equipment to donate to developing countries and others through the World Baseball Glove Support Project, resulting in receiving the 2,132 items from the 11 organisations across Japan.
