Celebrating its 5th time this year, we held Ekiden originating in Japan on September 23, 2018, at Senayan Square in Jakarta.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Indonesia, more than 1,600 runners stirred up excitement and strengthened friendly relations.
Goodwill ambassador, Shohei Matsunaga (soccer player), Haruka Nakagawa (idol group AKB48 member), Yuki Kato (actress), and former soccer Indonesian national team players were at the event and attracted more than 2,500 spectators to the stadium.
