Overseas players and referees participated in the largest championship in Nippon Kempo which is held every year. Not only did Nippon Kempo spread overseas, but we also supported the training sessions of overseas athletes, improving their skills, providing refereeing activities at referee training sessions, and actual competitions.

The day before the tournament, about 50 Japanese referees and overseas referees participated in the refereeing class, and the training was held to improve the skills of judge’s criteria, accuracy, and speed.
Overseas referees are already active referees in their own country, and all referees need to make fair judgments based on the same line of sight and criteria. The tournament was full of energy, and with a sense of tension and accurate refereeing, we were able to carry a valuable sports exchange environment.
