【Nepal】Sports Ground Construction in Nepal

Due to the lack of infrastructure in Nepal, baseball officials have been requesting to renovate the ground for players to play safely. With the support of Japan, a ground was built in Lalitpur, to develop a safer infrastructure for the children to learn how to play baseball properly.
The construction of the ground began back in April, and the opening ceremony was organized in September 15 inviting the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal to join this occasion. After the opening ceremony ended, local children gathered to play games on the field.
Although the ground is not a full-fledged baseball field, it can be used for other sports as well as a multipurpose sports plaza where children can play with peace of mind and as a shelter in the event of a disaster. In the future, the organizers would like to expand the range of Nepalese baseball activities based on this ground.
