We provided support for sports equipment for students in Suphan Buri and Chiang Mai, Thailand in April 2018.
Nippon Sport Science University handed out 3 dozen hardballs, and Rawlings Japan GK handed out grabs and bats to elementary, junior high, and high school students in Thailand. We also donated sports equipment from people who are related to our business.
Baseball is not yet widespread in Thailand, so there is a shortage of tools and sports equipment. Thai players cannot buy locally, so they have used old ones for a long time.
After hearing about the situation from JICA volunteers who are active in the field, we decided to support their activities.
I am very happy to hear that Thai athletes are practicing with the sports equipment that was donated.
