Vietnam's weightlifting is at the same level as Japan, and this invitation activity aimed not only to deepen the friendly relationship between Japan and Vietnam but also to exchange information to improve each other's competition level. Six players and two coaches from the Vietnam national team participated and were able to actively interact with each other by practicing with Japanese players.

Although the Vietnamese team has not adopted specific training methods or training using special equipment the participants exchanged information on how to carry out basic training because it is ranked high in the lightweight class in the world. The Vietnamese team seems to have been able to train adequately at the National Training Center. Going forward, the program will continue to collaborate in sharing information between each other and organize joint training camps for national teams with the aim of mutual development.
