SANIX holds various international sports competitions based on the basic principles of healthy development of young people through sports, dissemination, and improvement of competitiveness, and international cross-cultural exchange.
This judo tournament has been carried out 15 times, and this year, 119 teams from Japan and 22 teams from 8 countries and regions participated.
During the event, not only there were competitions held but there were also various exchange activities carried out during the course of the event.
The overseas team held a two-day training camp that was instructed by Japanese coaches and medalists. Even though the tournament was over once the participants lose during the first day, they were able to experience many games throughout the training sessions that were held on the next day. Exchange meetings were arranged between participating team players while they went sightseeing. Since the competition venue and accommodation facilities were located in the same facility, the athletes could communicate with each other and interact with each other's cultures.

The 10 days were incredibly fulfilling. I was able to meet and practice judo players of the same generation around the world and receive coaching from world champions. I lost in the second round of the tournament, but it was a very good experience. Thank you for the opportunity of SANIX.
