As a collaborative project between the 45th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China and Sports for Tomorrow, we held a special lecture by Mr. Takeshi Okada, a former Japanese national football team coach.

Over 200 listeners gathered in the hall of the Embassy of Japan in China to listen to lectures for Chinese soccer leaders and physical education teachers. He enthusiastically talked about grassroots efforts and the importance of teaching and training, and after the lecture, there was a lively question and answer session. The talk of his own experience, "Punctuality, greetings and knowing the importance of tidying up will help players and teams grow," was very convincing, and the instructors who participated listened seriously.

Comments from Mr. Zhang Go, Shanghai Kaihatsu Youth Football Club:
I would like to convey what I learned from Mr. Okada's experience to Chinese children. I usually like drawing, but I think soccer education is the same as drawing. It's important to imitate first, then digest and create your style. Japan also learned from Brazilian soccer at first, and then studied European soccer, gradually creating a soccer-style unique to Japan. I think China should try the same path.
