For a total of 36 people, including short-distance track and field athletes and coaches of athletics and physical education from all over the country, a two-day track and field class was held in Vientiane with Mr. Dai Tamesue, who holds the Japanese record for the 400m hurdles in Japan. This program was conducted as Inclusive Athletics Training in collaboration with Asian Development with the Disabled Persons (ADDP), and athletes with disabilities such as low vision also participated.

It was held at the Chao Anouvong National Stadium, and on the first day, a warm-up method, drill-centered practical training, start practice, and a 30m time trial were held. We also conducted a guided demonstration run for people with visual disabilities to encourage healthy athletes to understand the track and field of people with disabilities. On the second day, we practiced the relay baton and actually divided into 6 teams to perform the relay.

See below for the Japanese version.

Feedback from Local Contacts :

I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Tamesue from Japan for the first Inclusive Athletics Training to commemorate in Laos. The two bronze medals at the World Championship had a great impact on the participants, and the participants listened to Mr. Tamesue's advice seriously. I would like to ask for continued support.
