The Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers Volleyball Team and the Mongolian Volleyball Association collaborated to hold a seminar to improve coaching skills and leadership. We identified the problems that are occurring in Mongolian sports and provided suggestions for improvement and new knowledge. At the end of the seminar, we distributed the "Volleyball Teaching Textbook" published by JICA Volunteers.
Lectures were given to instructors gathered from all over Mongolia in four categories:
1. Volleyball technology
2. First aid
3. Data analysis
4. Teaching method
In each lecture, we introduced the methods adopted in Japan, presented the issues necessary for the future development of Mongolian volleyball, and looked for solutions. Students were enthusiastic about taking notes and trying to absorb the knowledge. It was the first volleyball class sponsored by JICA, and I was able to spend a very useful time.
See below for the Japanese version.
