At Ogaki Women's Junior College in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, we held a tag game experience event with the cooperation of university students and local residents. An American English teaching assistant from elementary and junior high school also participated, and it was an opportunity to deepen international exchange with local residents by experiencing the traditional Japanese tag "Kotoro Kotoro".

There are tag games all over the world, but the tag game "Kotoro Kotoro" was born and inherited as Japanese culture 1300 years ago. Despite time constraints and limited understanding, the American participants enjoyed working with other Japanese people. It was a wonderful time for international exchange, as communication was promoted by moving together, regardless of language differences.

See below for the Japanese version.

Feedback from Organizer :

Comment from Mr. Masaru Yamada, Representative of Gifu Seino Tag Association:
Although the language and generation are different, the participants were able to deepen exchanges with just a brief explanation of the rules. We also explained the difference between "TAG" in the United States and "tag" in Japan and were able to create a good opportunity to know and understand each other's history and culture.
