The equipment used for table tennis has a great influence on the youth, but the equipment is not distributed in developing countries which makes it not available for the athletes to practice table tennis. At the request of a JICA volunteer table tennis coach, we have decided to deliver used equipment to developing countries. We asked for donations on our website and at competitions, and we have a collection of used table tennis equipment from Japanese players.
Starting in March 2016, 9,397 used rubbers, 622 used rackets, and 1,065 shirts were collected over a period of one year and five months, and 5,814 rubbers, 404 rackets, and 1,060 shirts were donated.
Donations were given to Kiribati, Samoa, Philippines, Morocco, Kenya, Ghana, Myanmar, Bhutan, Nepal, Argentina, Mongolia, Fiji, Vanuatu, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Malawi, Oceania Table Tennis Federation (12 out of 24 organizations are developing countries), Nigeria, Uganda, and table tennis teams without borders.

I couldn't buy the equipment online because it couldn’t be delivered to my area and I used the same rubber for years. Many children cannot buy it for financial reasons. Donations from Japan have given children great dreams and hopes. I am grateful for the support and would like to work on the development of table tennis.
