Since 2010 we have hosted baseball education, “Fancl Kids Baseball”; aiming to nurture children’s minds and bodies. In response to the plight of countries suffering from shortages of sporting goods, we have donated baseball equipment collected from participants via an organization which conducts baseball promotion activities on the spot; concurrently with the above tournament.

By donating baseball equipment to developing countries, including South American countries taht are suffering from shortages of sporting goods, baseball can be promoted worldwide.
This is also expected to contribute to our current initiatives, aiming to make baseball an official
event of the Tokyo Olympics.

Feedback from Local Contacts :

・Baseball dissemination activity on the spot paves the way for children to learn about teamwork and courtesy
・The demand for goods in countries and regions suffering from shortages of sporting goods is estimated in the future as well.
・One issue is how to earn transportation costs to carry equipment. Currently, they are carried by hand when instructors arrive on site.
