The Japan Sport Council held training sessions and lectures for teachers on the “I’mPOSSIBLE” textbook developed by the Agitos Foundation, which takes charge of the development work of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Participants including teachers listened to lectures on the Paralympics and Olympics and practical knowhow applicable to their classes.
Under the collaboration between the Agitos Foundation and the Japanese Paralympic Committee (JPC), the project consisted of two training sessions and lectures over a period of two days in Lusaka on the textbook “I’m POSSIBLE,” which is designed to promote awareness of an inclusive society through topics related with the Paralympics. The programme shared knowledge on the Paralympic movement and values with 79 participants. They also learned the rules of parasports and ways of practicing them through trying out goal ball. We hope inclusive education will be enhanced in schools in Zambia.http://www.sftlegacy.jpnsport.go.jp/wp/jp/20190419-4/

Feedback from Participant :
The programme was very satisfying. It’s important to provide inclusive education to children to enhance Paralympic education. I wanted people with challenges to take part in the programme, too.
