These activities were planned and implemented by athlete members of the Japan Flying Disc Association with the aim of encouraging women and children in Cambodia and contributing to improvements in the standard of living through Ultimate competition.

The objectives of these activities were for Cambodian children and women to gain healthy bodies, self-management skills, the ability to determine what is right according to rules, cooperation, and the ability to immediately determine and act on the best policy at the time through participation in Ultimate events. In addition, children in rural areas who are unable to attend school can acquire the ability to deal with problems and society in a group by participating in Ultimate, which is a team sport and a sport based on the spirit of self-judging. These events gave women who are struggling every day in a male-dominated society the opportunity to participate in Ultimate and also to feel the joy of sports, releasing daily stress and giving them the courage to act independently.
