We carried out an enlightenment program on how to enjoy the outdoors through trail running competitions. It is a program that emphasizes not only the competition but also good sportsmanship elements, such as greetings during the competition and calling out if there was a problem.
Trail running competitions are increasing in number year by year in Japan, but competitions specializing in the junior generation are rarely held except in FUJIO PROJECT. The name of the tournament is simple, "Region name + Jr. TRAIL RUN". Interestingly, the number of participants of foreign children is also increasing year by year.
Of the 300 participants, 10% of them were foreign nationals, and they were exposed to cultural exchanges through trail running.

Great conditions for trail running in sunny autumn weather. The children who participated said they would like to participate in all competitions in 2019. Everyone at the venue in Ome city warmly watched over us and they are looking forward for the next year.
