Paro College of Education is the only higher education in Bhutan to train elementary and junior high school teachers. However, due to the lack of monitoring the physical education at the college is not sufficient, we invited teachers to Japan to investigate the class structure, revise the curriculum, and teaching methods to the physical educators.

During the 9 days, the physical educators participated in lectures on physical education at universities in Kyoto and Osaka prefectures while they inspected physical education classes at elementary schools and high schools. Elementary schools in Kyoto gained a new understanding of physical education classes and insightful information on curriculum revisions.
