Mr. Kohei Nakajima from Japan Sport Council Medical Center and Mr. Hiroki Ozaki and Ms. Mariko Nakamura from JISS Sports Science Department were dispatched to the 2nd ASEAN Sports Medicine Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They gave a lecture on Japan's efforts toward Tokyo 2020 and their experiences with Asian Games.
At the conference, lectures and workshops were provided by Japanese companies inviting experts from Japan, the United Kingdom, South Korea to share their expertise. The researchers and students involved in sports medicine in Malaysia and the ASEAN region were invited to participate. The level of sports medicine science in Japan is one of the highest in Asia, and the presentation attracted many participants who asked many questions to increase their knowledge of the intending topics.
