An international junior high school baseball tournament aimed at disseminating information on Miyazaki City's excellent sports environment, fostering the development of young people, and international exchange program. It is held every August mainly at the stadium in Miyazaki City, and this is the seventh time this year.

This year, 42 teams from Japan, 5 teams from Taiwan, 1 team from South Korea, and 1 team from Sri Lanka participated in the tournament. Only one Taiwanese team remained in the final tournament.
At the opening ceremony, the tournament executive committee presented baseball equipment (catcher mask, helmet, protector, shin guard) to the Sri Lankan teams.
