The Sapporo Sport Association held a World Sports Festival for local citizens, JICA trainees, and international students in the city to experience world sports while engaging in international exchange.
This is the 4th tournament where you can experience sports from all over the world, and many people participate every year.
This year, we held four events: Tai Chi (China), Kimball Sports (Canada), Tag Rugby (UK), and Capoeira (Brazil), to deepen exchanges between participants. Although the participation of foreign nationals was small, many children enjoyed overseas sports that they rarely even see.
