The purpose of the accommodation-type sports camp is to promote communication and international exchange through sports with participating children and volunteer staff. By experiencing multiple competitions, participants are exposed to the diversity of sports and grow their interest and understanding of sports and culture.
Held as part of the "Fukushima Children's Future School" where children in Fukushima engage in various programs while interacting with the community and people, they experience four sports: badminton, basketball, skating, and cricket. We invited top athletes as instructors to show us a masterclass of demonstrations and enjoyed sports while learning the basic movements and rules. In addition, we promoted cultural exchange and communication while conducting exercise programs that are popular overseas, and cheering each other on for support.
