We accept foreign trainees who have been requested for training by overseas martial arts and sports organizations and provide opportunities for martial arts and sports training while staying on campus. We also provide and support joint training sessions to facilitate training.

The university was founded to spread martial arts overseas and has an international exchange hall (accommodation and training facility) on campus, which widely accepts trainees from overseas. Although the purpose of stay is different for the national team from that of the training team, we provide training facilities such as dojos and gymnasiums and provide support through joint training sessions and friendly matches with our faculty members and students. In 2015, we accepted a total of 364 foreign martial arts and sports trainees (30 countries in total).

Feedback from Participant :

Comments from Participant, Mr. Sumito Inoue:
In September 2014, I took a picture of the performance at La Paz by the members of International Budo University on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bolivia. About 3,000 spectators gathered in La Paz, and I was one of them. It was my dream to practice at a Japanese dojo.
