Sport/Programme Category
NGO Education Research Center(NERC)
Number of Individual Beneficiaries
Approx. 1,800 people
Continuing from 2016, we held a soccer tournament for boys and girls in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The level of Cambodian football is low, and especially women's football is hardly popular. We aimed to foster a sports culture in Cambodia in the future, promote human education for boys and girls through football, promote gender equality, and contribute to sports exchanges with Japan.

We invited four boys and girls (both under 18 years old) club teams to a football tournament and football clinic for six days at the Kandar State Football Field. We also held seminars on injury prevention methods and treatments for local leaders and athletes. The players fought a fierce battle, and the cheering battle was also enthusiastic, and exchanges were also held with students from Japan.

See below for the Japanese version.
