Professor Fumiya Kuno of the University of Tsukuba gave a keynote speech about his research theme, Smart Wellness City, at the "ASEAN Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Society" held in Nakhon Pathom Province, Thailand, from September 3 to 5, 2017.
The annual conference held at universities in the ASEAN region was attended by university faculty members and graduate students from various countries. A wide range of programs such as workshops and cultural exchanges were held in addition to keynote speeches by guests from overseas.

Professor Kuno's lecture was evidence-based and persuasive. It was wonderful subject that showed the high level of research in Japan's health field. Not only the method of exercise, but his idea of how to capture the indifferent group was wonderful and very helpful.
