Tsuruoka City has been certified as the host town of the Republic of Moldova for the Tokyo 2020 Games. As the first exchange project, we donated badminton equipment to the Moldova Badminton Federation in cooperation with the SFTC Secretariat and Nippon Badminton Association. At the Osaka International Challenge Badminton Championships in April 2018, the Nippon Badminton Association asked for donations of used equipment, and they received 18 rackets, 30 dozen shuttles, guts, and racket cases. With the help of the Tsuruoka City Badminton Association, we added 4 rackets and a racket bag. It was presented by the Ambassador of the Embassy of Japan in Moldova to the Moldova Badminton Federation on October 5, 2018.
