More and more people are playing sports In Shizuoka, especially football, but sports promotion for people with intellectual disabilities is yet to take place. Therefore, with the coaches of Shimizu S-Pulse, we held a football class in Taiwan with the slogan "smile and high touch" for students with physical education teacher training college and special support school.
During the festival, the instructors praised the university students who participated to give them the confidence to participate to enjoy the activity while learning the rules of the game. In the football class, the instructor was a college student, so this encouraged the players to get engaged. Participants from special schools and university students were put in pairs so they can interact with each other and enjoy working together. College students played a lot of sport activities in the afternoon which included mini-games. The students responded in a positive manner when they were given hard-working movements as the instructor smiled during the activities and high-fived them.
