Global sports competitions such as the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics are being held, and the number of tourists visiting Japan in 2016 is going to increase to 24.03 million. We held a youth baseball tournament to further promote international exchange through sports.

1) International exchange
We had exchanges between Japanese, Taiwanese, and Korean teams at games and reception parties.
2) Sports promotion
We have created an environment where non-urban teams can play against overseas teams with the participation of mainly Shikoku teams.
3) Regional revitalization
They stayed in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, went shopping, and watched independent league games.
Comments from Japan team coach:
Through baseball, I can interact with the Korean team and I definitely want to participate in the tournament next year.
