We have provided an opportunity for foreign students enrolled in the special course of martial arts at International Budo University to experience sports culture in the sea of Sotobo, Chiba prefecture.
International students are working hard every day to acquire the goals of martial arts, Japanese language, and Japanese culture. Some international students are from inland countries and cities. With the cooperation of Katsuura City Hall and Katsuura City Tourism Association, we had them experience Stand Up Paddle Surfing (SUP), which even beginners can do easily. International students enjoyed the beautiful views of the sea while experiencing stand-up paddle surfing.
