The Japan Sports Association has accepted 140 Korean athletes in Japan in order to further deepen the goodwill and friendship between Japan and South Korea and to promote sports in both countries. We also dispatched a Japanese team to South Korea and held sports exchanges with 143 Korean athletes.

The 14th invitation project was held in Aomori and Nagano prefectures. We dispatched a team of junior high school students from Aomori and Nagano prefectures to Seoul and Gangwon-do.
The two teams deepened their bonds of friendship through joint training, competitions, recording sessions, and recreation programs held in their respective countries, and learned about the history and culture of each other's countries through visits to cultural facilities.

See below for the Japanese version.

Feedback from Participant :

-Even though the language and culture are different, it was fun to be able to speak in English and gestures and laugh together. (Japanese junior high school student)
-I remember the smiles and serious eyes of junior high school students at competitions and exchange events. (Japanese leader)
