The 18th rugby tournament invited teams from 10 countries and different regions for both men and women. In addition to the competition, we held international exchanges and sightseeing with local students. This included a tour of the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum. Since the venue and accommodation facilities are located in the same facility, they were able to communicate with each other by living together and to come into contact with and understand each other's culture.

Comments from Coach of Mount Albert Grammar School, New Zealand:
It was the most well-planned and well-run tournament in my 25 years of coaching life. Immediately after arriving in Fukuoka, I felt welcomed and the team continued to have a good atmosphere. The facilities, food, and service were excellent. It was a memorable tournament for both players and staff.
